What is incense?

Incense is the name of a mixture of substances that can be ignited and then spread a pleasant odor.

Incense can be made from different ingredients. To make incense, plant parts are needed (for example, flowers, rose petals, bark or bark). These plant parts are mixed with, for example, charcoal to continue to smoulder, and with a sticking element such as resin. These ingredients are rolled around, for example, a split bamboo stick. Essential oils may be added to emphasize the odor. Without a bamboo stick, the incense is formed as a cone.

An incense stick is lit, then it blows out because it should not burn so much but glow. At present, the use of incense in the house is very popular.

In ancient traditions, it is said that everything in the world is made up of the 5 elements, namely: earth, air, water, fire and ether. It is interesting to know that incense is one of the few products that combines all 5 elements. Incense is made up of the earth (the ingredients), spreads through the air, is made with water, becomes active through fire and has an etheric = fine effect (soothing, protective, positive things attractive). Probably, incense works so harmoniously and healing. Incense is a very special and spiritual product with dozens of applications in the sense of mind and body.

Incense as a whole has the ability to slow down and deepen as one of its physical properties. This is conducive to relaxation and meditation.

Incense is used, among other things, for mucosal inflammation, bladder inflammation, menstrual pain, ulcers, bleeding, wound healing, colds, flu, asthma, bronchitis, fears, nervous tension, depression.

The operation of incense:

Scents affect our mood. Scents call up feelings. This is because our nose is directly in contact with the part of our brain in which emotions are sent. Scents affect our mood. The preference for a particular smell is very personal. Whether someone likes a smell depends on their own pheromones. With a smell in the house, we create a certain atmosphere. Today, many interior fittings are offered with chemical ingredients. These can just counteract and irritate.

Incense purifies the air. It’s a great way to get rid of ‘nasty’ airs, such as cigarettes, toilet or food hides. But first of all, incense is used to help us with small physical problems and to restrain ourselves in our busy daily life. The smell of incense comes through our scent and lungs in direct contact with the awareness, nervous system, circulation and the fine energy centres. Try out a cold, an inflammation or a lack of energy: Incense can help.

The intense fragrance causes us to breathe deeper and so our mind is resting. It’s a nice scent adventure to find out which smells are best for you, which smells can help you get relaxed, happily, get inspiration, in short on every occasion. Once discovered, the smell can become a friend for life! Amber and lavender are perfect for relaxing, rose and lotus make you happy, sandalwood is good for inner peace, meditation or yoga exercises. Musk works stimulating, good to study. Our incense contains fine oils to emphasize the odor. NO chemical additives have been added.

As to finding out, humans have always used incense in carrying out magic and ritual acts. Even in everyday life, burning incense is a normal thing.
